Her early years were spent growing up in Chicago’s South Shore area. She then moved to Flossmoor where she attended H-F High School. After graduating from college she moved to Carlsbad, California, where she started her Real Estate career as a Broker. She has returned to Flossmoor and has been extremely vested in the Southland community for the last several years. She is involved with The Cancer Support Center participating in many events and is President of The Women’s Board. She has volunteered for many community organizations and has held the position of co-chair of the Ambassador Committee in the Chicago Southland Chamber. This has opened many doors for her and has given her an excellent knowledge of the area.
Her broad-based experience in Business & Relationship Development, Marketing, Sales, Event Planning and Home Staging in addition to her attention to detail makes her talents the full package for your real estate needs.
Jen is a life long resident of the Homewood-Flossmoor area. She is the banquet manager at Idlewild Country Club (2003-Present) and has been a Realtor with Baird & Warner since 2011. At Idlewild she specializes in member relations, marketing, banquet sales and event planning which has all laid the groundwork for her unsurpassed approach to real estate that ensures each client receives the highest level of service possible.
Her marketing experience and technological skills, as well as her detail oriented and results driven personality, guarantee that seller’s properties are always well advertised in the market place and that buyers are continuously kept up to date with properties that match their needs. With the use of today’s advanced technology and the digital signing program DocuSign, Jen is able to stay in constant contact with her clients and all parties involved in all transactions, at all times, from just about anywhere from start to finish.
Additionally, she doesn’t consider the closing the end of the relationship. She is always available to her clients if they need help, advice, referrals or anything else. With a reputation for placing client’s needs, goals and objectives at the forefront of every transaction, Laura Walter provides communication, negotiation and management skills in combination with in-depth knowledge of the Chicagoland neighborhoods and real estate market. Laura has over ten years of combined residential and commercial real estate including residential sales, commercial management, residential management and leasing.
Laura prides herself always working in the best interest of each and every client making sure they are successful in every transaction. Because of the lifetime relationships that are built with Laura’s clients, 70% of her clients are referrals.
Laura lives in the south suburbs with her husband and three children and spends her free time volunteering within her community and globally through her church.
