Working Together

Committees

A great way to get involved and benefit both your chamber and the community is to join a committee. You will meet new people while raising your company’s local name recognition. You will also have a great time working with and getting to know your fellow chamber members. Each committee serves a vital role in strengthening the Chamber and it’s Membership.  If you are interested in serving on a committee, please contact the appropriate committee chair listed below or the chamber office.

Ambassador/Membership Committee
Chair: Nick Markionni

Ambassador/Membership Committee members actively promote the Chamber in the business community, referring prospective members to the Chamber for follow up, providing assistance to new Chamber members to connect them to the organization and working with existing members to help them remain active and involved. Ambassadors are the hosts at Chamber events and activities. They greet and introduce new members and guests to Chamber members, answer questions about membership and participate and assist with registration or other activities as requested.  They represent the Chamber by attending ribbon cutting ceremonies and grand opening ceremonies and by attending as many other Chamber events as possible. Committee members also determine strategic direction for the membership benefits and services provided by the Chamber. Meeting the needs of the members is vital to the organization’s continued growth and vitality. This committee identifies the needs of members to ensure the Chamber offers a solid return on your membership investment. The committee provides valuable insights on the best ways to: grow membership, engage current members, retain current members, evaluate and make recommendations on member benefits, identify opportunities and business trends in specific industries.
